How does the palate quiz work?
A short series of taste questions — proteins, flavors, spice tolerance, texture, cuisines — takes about 60 seconds. We turn that into a flavor fingerprint and use it to score every dish at every nearby restaurant. The more you tap, favorite, and rate, the sharper the fingerprint gets.
What cities is Pal8 in?
New Haven first. We're scaling neighborhood by neighborhood — joining the waitlist tells us where to launch next.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your palate profile is yours. We share aggregated, anonymized neighborhood-level signals with restaurants (e.g., "diners nearby lean spicy and umami") — never your individual profile, contact info, or browsing history.
